BEANS (FIJONEES)

 

2 tbs oil

1 lb. beef chuck cubed

1 large onion cut up

2 cans tomato sauce

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Boiling water

Green pepper cut up

 

Fry onions in oil for approximately 10 minutes.

 

Add 2 cans of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, green pepper and water to cover the beans.

 

Cook covered (lid ajar) for approximately 3 hours adding boiling water as it cooks down.
